New & under construction

New and under construction in our own workshop

Published

Post Workboats builds and maintains its vessels in its own workshop in Urk. New hulls are fitted out, consoles installed, engines mounted and existing RIBs refitted for their next deployment.

Post Workboats: Nieuwe oranje Gemini cabin-RIB in aanbouw op een Pega dubbelas-trailer in de loods; wit stuurhuis met oranje kap, zwarte relingbeugels achterop, motoren nog niet gemonteerd.

New build and fit-out

A cabin RIB is currently being fitted out in the hall: hull, console, helm position and equipment are built up step by step around the work the vessel will do. Layout, seating, lighting, lifting eyes and transport provisions are decided per vessel.

Maintenance and refit

Alongside new builds we carry out maintenance, engine changes and modifications on our own charter fleet. Doing this in house keeps vessels quickly available and feeds operational experience straight back into the next build.

Delivered ready for transport

Every vessel is delivered so it can travel to the job by road or in a container. Road transport, low-loader and container shipment are part of the standard way of working, in the Netherlands, across Europe and beyond.
